Speaker

Benjamin Dorman

I’m a dad of two, a lifelong programmer, and a security professional who has recently dived head‑first into the AI era. My tech story began with hobbyist coding in my teens and later sharpened on the TryHackMe platform. I earned my CompTIA Security+ (February 2026) and CompTIA SecAI+ (June 2026) certifications, giving me a solid foundation in both classic cyber‑defence and emerging AI‑risk concepts.

For the past 12 years I’ve worked in health‑insurance, leading SOC 2‑type compliance and GRC initiatives for a high‑volume claims‑processing platform. Those experiences taught me how to balance rapid innovation with regulatory rigor—knowledge. I now share on my YouTube channel Secured AI (https://www.youtube.com/@Secured-AI), where I break down Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) challenges for AI systems.
